Some key Scriptures

The Jewish Awakening is when people find out that they have Jewish heritage.  This can be a very moving experience and life changing.  According to the Torah/Old Testament there will be a gathering of the dispersed Jews before the Messiach/Messiah arrives.  Some believe the gathering is to literally move to Israel, while others believe it is a spiritual gathering by prayer toward the Jewish G-d.  Either way it is spiritually important.  There are many more scriptures, these are my favorites to use to explain.  TCJB, stands for The Complete Jewish Bible version.

Deuteronomy 30:3-5,  3 At that point, ADONAI your G-d will reverse your exile and show you mercy; he will return and gather you from all the peoples to which ADONAI your G-d scattered you. 4 If one of yours was scattered to the far end of the sky, ADONAI your G-d will gather you even from there; he will go there and get you.  5 ADONAI your G-d will bring you back into the land your ancestors possessed, and you will possess it;  he will make you prosper there, and you will become even more numerous than your ancestors. Is. 43:5,6   5 Don't be afraid, for I am with you.  I will bring your descendants from the east, and I will gather you from the west;  TCJB

Jer. 30:3,8    3 I myself will gather what remains of my flock from all the countries where I have driven them and bring them back to their homes, and they will be fruitful and increase their numbers.  TCJB
6 I will say to the north, 'Give them up!' and to the south, 'Don't hold them back!'  Bring my sons from far away, and my daughters from the ends of the earth. TCJB
8 As ADONAI lives, who brought the descendants from the house of Israel up from the land to the north, and from all the countries where I drove them.  Then they will live in their own land. TCJB
Ezekiel 39:28 Then they will know that I am ADONAI their G-d, since it was I who caused them to go into exile among the nations, and it was I who re-gathered them to their own land.  I will leave none of them there any more.  TCJB
